·         Managing GSM infrastructure vendors and handling all aspects of the realisation of the contract. Handling the commercial/contractual interface to vendors.  Driving the rollout from a procurement perspective involving interfacing to the area managers and the vendors.

·         Participating in the evaluation phase of the tender submissions of the GSM vendors and taking part in high-level negotiations with vendors having the responsibility for the formulating a contract for all subsystems and bringing the contract to a conclusion.  Working with other shareholders' nominees and the local legal and finance departments

·         Heading all procurement matters relayed to the network, evaluating the requirements and responsible for all orders to infrastructure suppliers (from GSM subsystems to part of the civil works).

·         Leading the department in issuing and evaluating ITTs and subsequently negotiating with Suppliers of various equipment and services.

·         Establishing processes and procedures for the procurement of equipment.
