Teleconsultants and Associates was established in the United Kingdom in 1981. Teleconsultants has advised on technical strategy and has lead activities relating to the procurement of equipment, contract negotiations and subsequent contract/vendor management and project follow-up. Most of the major supply contracts have been the value of several hundred million dollars/ euros. Teleconsultants have also performed due diligence on operations, contracts and business plans. Clients have been major infrastructure vendors (Ericsson, Motorola, Alcatel, Siemens, Rockwell, TRT Phillips), operators (Orange UK, Orange International, Orange Sweden and Orange Thailand, Connect Austria/One, Telenor International and Telia Mobile International) and for investment banks (IKB Deutsche Industrie bank and other syndicated banks). With operators Teleconsultants have evaluated licence opportunities, performed due diligence, engaged in consortia discussions and formations, technical strategy, procurement activities, contract negotiations, vendor management and managing the implementation of network rollout projects. Teleconsultants have closely cooperated with external investment houses, banks, accountancy firms and lawyers firms and have gained considerable experience in network contracts and procurement activities.
